How do I earn faith points in the game?
Players earn faith points by using light Characters to pray and using dark Characters to slow down opponents.
Can I collect rare or special edition cards?
Yes, Faith Off offers unique collectible cards featuring special biblical characters and events.
Is Faith Off suitable for children?
Absolutely! It’s designed to be educational and fun for players of 8 years and up, but can be enjoyed by all ages.
What do I need to begin playing Faith Off?
You’ll need a deck of 20 Faith Off cards (for a quick game), dice to keep track of scores, a flat play area, and at least one opponent ready to challenge you.
How long does a typical game last?
A quick game match takes about 10-15 minutes while a full game usually takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on player experience and game dynamics.
Can I play Faith Off solo or only with others?
While designed for two or more players, solo practice is great for mastering strategies, reading scripture and learning about the Characters and stories of the Bible.
Is this game Biblically accurate or just themed?
We have every card of the game inspected by a pastoral team to ensure that every card, game mechanic and image is aligned to doctrinal scripture.

Gameplay Questions
What is the goal of the game?
Each player starts with 1 Faith. The first player to reach 10 Faith (quick game) wins the game!
What happens if I can’t draw a card when I’m supposed to?
If you can’t draw a card, you lose the game.
Can I have more than one copy of a card in my deck?
Yes, but no more than 3 copies of any single card with the same name. Different card art does not count as a different version.
What is the maximum hand size?
7 cards; you must discard down to this number at the end of your turn.
What phases occur during my turn?
Prepare → Manage → Draw → Gather → Action → Discard
What does “Exhaust” mean?
Exhausting turns a card sideways to show it has been used and cannot be used again until it is Prepared.
Can cards in the Exile pile or hand be affected by abilities?
No, unless a card specifically says it affects cards in those zones.
Can I use a card’s ability right after it’s played?
No, Characters must be on the field for a full turn before they can be Exhausted. Some cards have special abilities that break this rule.
What can I do during the Action phase?

What is “Energy” used for?
To pay costs for playing cards, using abilities, and moving Characters.
What is the Exile pile?
It’s where cards go when they are no longer on the field, in your hand, or in your deck—typically after being defeated or used once.
What are Locations and how do they work?
Locations stay on the field and Characters can move to them by paying 1 Energy of the type used to play that Location. Characters stay there until moved.
What is a Psalm card?
A special Event that can be played with Energy or “Recited” by Exhausting a Character whose total Energy is equal to or greater than the Psalm’s cost.
